An advanced stainless-steel DHS (Downflow Hanging Sponge) bioreactor unit dedicated to agricultural wastewater treatment, its modular rectangular columns filled with textured sponge media arranged in vertical layers. Clear acrylic panels on one side reveal water trickling downward through the sponges, capturing subtle ripples and air bubbles. The system is installed in a spotless pilot plant room with light gray epoxy flooring and neatly labeled pipework feeding in slightly turbid water and discharging crystal-clear effluent. Bright, diffused overhead lighting ensures uniform illumination, producing minimal shadows and a highly professional, technical mood. ¿Qué hacemos?

Desarrollamos y evaluamos un prototipo agrobiotecnológico orientado a optimizar el uso del agua en la agricultura, tanto en calidad como en cantidad. Para ello, integramos tres componentes complementarios: aeroponía vertical, bioestimulantes microbianos y tratamiento y recirculación de agua mediante tecnología Downflow Hanging Sponge (DHS).

Esta integración busca avanzar hacia sistemas agrícolas más eficientes y sostenibles, especialmente adaptados a las condiciones de escasez hídrica de las zonas áridas.
